What is a podcast?

You can read the article above for an understanding of the term, but basically it refers to media that is delivered to users automatically over the internet.
Not A Computer Person? No Problem:
I Have iTunes Installed. Now What?
Once iTunes is installed on your system, return to www.hopefoursquare.com and click on the 'subscribe in iTunes' button in the right hand column. Alternatively, you can search for 'Hope Foursquare Church' in the iTunes store. The store is accessible from within iTunes. When our page comes up within iTunes, click on the 'subscribe' button there and you're all set. Our sermons will be found in the 'Podcasts' portion of the iTunes library.
What Do I Do With My
Downloaded Sermon File?
- Listen on your computer - Simply double-click the file, or highlight it and press ‘play’ within iTunes and it will play on your PC or Mac. Podcast files keep track of where they were last stopped, so if you close iTunes and come back to the sermon later, it will resume playing where you left off.
- Burn a CD - To burn a CD within iTunes, you must first create a playlist. This is very easily done. Simply highlight the sermon you want to burn to CD, then drag and drop it into the blank (light blue) space in the left column of the program. Click on your newly created playlist, then click the ‘Burn Disc’ button in the bottom right section of the program.
- Transfer sermons to your iPod - Simply drag the file(s) onto your iPod icon just as you would with music files, or set the podcast to synchronize automatically from your device interface within iTunes.
- Transfer sermons to any other media player or portable device - Since portable devices vary in operation, we cannot give specific instructions here. You may need to import the sermon file into Windows Media Player or move it into a computer folder. This is easily done: Highlight any file within iTunes, and simply drag it to where you want it copied. Let go, and it’s done. Note that this makes a second copy of your file, it does not remove it from iTunes.
